Upgrades and what to bring
On business series such as EliteBook and ProBook, RAM and SSD are usually easy to reach. On Pavilion and the 250 series, the SSD can be replaced on most models, while RAM has one or two slots depending on the model. On older models with an HDD, moving to an SSD gives the most noticeable speed gain.

About HP service
The Caps Lock light on my HP blinks and the device will not start. Why?
On some HP models, a blinking light means a memory, BIOS or motherboard error at startup. Removing and reseating the memory sometimes fixes it. If not, bring the device to us and we will find which component is faulty.
What is the hardware diagnostics tool that opens with F2 on an HP?
On many HP models, pressing F2 at startup opens the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics screen. It can run memory and drive tests without an operating system. If you send us the error code it shows, we can pin down the fault faster.
The hinge on my HP Pavilion broke. Can the screen be secured?
Hinge replacement is possible on most models. If the case or screen bezel that holds the hinge is also broken, those parts need repair too. Continuing to use a wobbling screen can damage the panel and cable, so acting early matters.
My HP is charging but the battery percentage is not going up. What could be wrong?
It could be the adapter, the charging port or the battery. Trying a different original adapter makes the first distinction. If the battery health is very low, it needs replacing.

No. Antalya Notebook is an independent service shop and is not an authorised brand service. For devices still under warranty, work done outside an authorised service may affect the warranty terms. We recommend checking your warranty status before any work.
